I am currently a Yuma distance dietetic graduate intern in this future education model graduate program at the University of Arizona.
In Fall 2022, I will be completing my Food Service Rotation at Yuma Regional Medical Center and Community Rotation at Regional Center for Border Health. In Spring 2023, I will be completing my Clinical Rotation at Yuma Regional Medical Center.

I attended the University of Arizona on the Yuma Distance Campus on the Wildcat Distinction Scholarship which was a full-ride merit-based scholarship. Additionally, I received a 2020 YumaAlumni Wildcats Scholarship. While at the UArizona, I completed 3 semesters of undergraduate internship at Regional Center for Border Health and 3 semesters of preceptorship in the UArizona School of Nutritional Sciences and Wellness. I also co-founded the UArizona-Yuma Nutrition Chapter where I served as the Director of Mentoring and Networking, recruiting healthcare leaders from across the country and developing a mentorship program between UArizona dietetic students and Southwest District, Arizona Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Members.

I attended Arizona Western College on a Honors Scholarship which was a merit-based scholarship that funded full tuition, books, and meals. I was a part of the Honors Department and was elected Vice-President of Scholarship for the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. I also was a member of the AWC Science Club, AWC Nature Club, and served as Co-Principal Cellist in the AWC String Ensemble. Additionally, I worked at the AWC Student Success Center as a Math and Sciences Tutor.
During my time at AWC, I completed a freshman honors project about Medical Provider Burnout for which I received a $500 Student Showcase Scholarship in Communication. I also completed a sophomore honors research projects about Dehydration in Southwestern Arizona for which I received a $1500 Student Showcase Scholarship in Communication and Scientific Literacy.
